We understand that the process of finding a therapist & starting therapy can be daunting & do our utmost to make it as easy as possible for you. Making that first phone call or sending the first email is difficult & we attempt to make your journey into therapy as easy as it possibly can be.

We are able to provide all of the different types of evidence-based psychological therapies. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Counselling, Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT), Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) and psychotherapy. We have 17 years of providing therapy at The Rooms.

All our therapists have been chosen by The Rooms for their levels of skills and experience. All therapists work with us on a self-employed basis.

The Rooms was set up by Elaine Mayall in 2006 after working as a manager and therapist in the NHS.

In 2018 we opened The Rooms of Knutsford which provides psychological assessment and therapy to adults and children in the Knutsford area, alongside consultation and training.
